I actually agree with you. I'm still not fluent at using it. The thing that make it an important to learn framework for me is 1 the fact that it respects the design laws and accessibility. Since we are developer and not designer we can count on it to make a professional work in term of design.

And 2 the fact that it's used by the big companies in the world such as Netflix, Amazon, Capgemini ...etc. They won't be using it for nothing. And that means too that learning it will definitely bring value to a developer resume.
